My approach is person centered, focusing on the unique aspects of the individual and family.
Skills:
Maya Asher, LPC is an independently licensed clinical therapist. She has been working with children, adolescents and family's since 2005 initially as an applied behavioral analyst. She graduated cum laude in 2009 with her master's in rehabilitation counseling from the University of Arizona.
Using modalities such as: CBT, EMDR, Person Centered, Expressive Arts, Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy, Sandtray, Family Systems, and disabilities theory/empowerment.
Personalized Services:
With a person centered approach we will provide treatment specific to individuals and families. This includes ongoing assessment and then tailoring treatment as progress is made. There is no standard curriculum to growth or the healing process. Each step, no matter how small, is a continuation of the journey.
