Approach:

 

Our approach is person centered, focusing on the unique aspects of the individual and family. I want to understand each person fully and empower them to be their most authentic self while also working towards their goals.

 

Skills:

 

Maya Asher, LPC is an independently licensed clinical therapist. She has been working with children, adolescents and family's since 2005 initially as a behavioral analyst. She graduated cum laude in 2009 with her master's in rehabilitation counseling from the University of Arizona.

Using modalities such as: Disabilities theory an empowerment model, Person Centered, Expressive Arts, Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy, Sandtray, Family Systems, Trauma informed CBT, EMDR, and modified exposure therapy.

 

Personalized Services: 


With a person centered approach we will provide treatment specific to individuals and families. This includes ongoing assessment and then tailoring treatment as progress is made. There is no standard curriculum to growth or the healing process. Each step, no matter how small, is a continuation of the journey.
